Legal Fee Calculation Method
The Legal Fee for a standard Sale & Purchase Agreement is based on Solicitors’ Remuneration Order 2023. The scale fees are as follow:
| Consideration or Adjudicated Value | Scale of Fees |

| For the first RM500,000 | 1.25% (subject to a minimum fee of RM500) |
| For the next RM7,000,000 | 1% |
| Exceeding RM7,500,000.00 | subject to negotiation but shall not exceed 1% of such excess |
Stamp Duty Calculation Method
In addition to Legal Fees, a buyer will also need to pay ad valorem stamp duty on the property transfer:
